How can you forget this structure. Featured in Indiana Jones and the Last Cruisade movie. Carved by the Nabataean in the 1st Century BC. It is 30 meters wide and 43 meters high. Carved from the top to ensure that any falling debris would not damage what was just carved. Initially carved as a tomb for an important Nabataean King and later used as a temple.
